The funny thing is that Progressives understand the fight for increase in rights. They live for it. So why is a gun owners rights different? Can they at least start to understand the intensity of the desire to protect their rights. Can we start the dialogue there?

The "good guy with a gun" argument doesn't work for me. Usually you are trying to figure out how to get out of there even if you're armed. Also, if everyone has a gun, I don't know who to shoot!

I’ve shot with police officers at the range. I’m a much better shot than any I’ve seen so far.

I consider myself a "good guy with a gun". What I am saying is that I am not going to take the time to figure out who's who. I'm just getting the hay out of there. I more than likely wouldn't draw my gun for fear of being shot by someone who thinks I'm the bad guy.
