The funny thing is that Progressives understand the fight for increase in rights. They live for it. So why is a gun owners rights different? Can they at least start to understand the intensity of the desire to protect their rights. Can we start the dialogue there?

You’re both right. But here’s math. Might take a couple posts: 100 million gun owners which means: 1 million gun owners = 1% of all gun owners 33,000 deaths per year (1/3 homicide, 2/3 suicide, *all* tragic) These are the root numbers for this point. 1/2
So... if gun owners kill only one person (themselves or someone else), do the math on that: It would still take over 30 years for these deaths to account for 1% of all gun owners. Literally 99.97% of gun owners are not a problem at all. 2/2
