That’s a stupid response and shows you have no argument. The 1994 AR ban resulted in 66% less mass shootings. When it expired in 2004 they went back up again. You can’t argue the stats.

The results don’t lie. AR weapon ban = less mass shootings. It already happened once. Why not simply take that little step? It helps.

Helping socio and eco omit conditions, and banning military grade weapons intended to cause as much loss of life in as little time as possible aren’t mutually exclusive. Do both.

When there are millions upon millions of a thing in circulation, the bulk of which are entirely unregistered, why do you think a ban would magically make them disappear?

I’m not naive enough to think they would disappear. You are now at 18 school shootings for this year. I would take a 66% reduction in that as a jumping off point any day of the week. You have to start somewhere.
