No,
this half assed logic is exactly how we got the broken ACA. ACA was originally going to have a public option but it was weakened by countering arguments with no replacements allowing Leiberman to pull it.
By NOT going #M4A Steve is doing the same thing.

That's right. That's what happened. We can't start from the middle & expect to get what we want for the People. The corporate power is too strong. We have to demand the Utopia, then let THEM negotiate us down. "Half...half...half......hal..f...ha..lf..." Bernie Mac 'Bad Santa'

Fact is, we won't get universal healthcare until the healthcare industry doesn't control congress. Period. That requires a systemic change, not a policy change.

Steve it requires VOTES in Congress. So we need the Candidates who have the WILL to execute the plan, once they get there. The Bills are on the table in both chambers. Quit trying to reinvent the wheel and just get ur butt up there & support these bills: https://johnnyakzam.com/the-issues/

I have over 30,000 words of sourced policy on my website, written by me. In that, I clearly say we need universal healthcare at 12% of GDP. And that "single-payer" *might* be how to do it, but might not. And we have dozens of examples to draw from worldwide.

Ur speaking analytics of a plan that isn't even on the table. I'm impressed that u sat down & rolled out 30,000 whole words. Urn't engaging with me in that article. you're here. And here you are trying to tell me you have a plan. I said there is one: https://www.congress.gov/bill/115th-congress/house-bill/676 …

The M4A plan would drop us to about 15% of GDP. Which is an improvement, as it should be. And of course I'd vote for it if it were on the table. I'm saying that 12% is the highest it is anywhere else. And I don't believe there's any reason why we can't also hit 12-12.5%.

So don't spend your time arguing that point on Twitter...get your ass elected by attracting people and argue that point in an Amendment on the House Floor. Come on...you do know how the job will work, right? Stop trying to convince those without the power in the bill.

I wouldn't be here explaining *anything* if it wasn't for people dragging me through this BS in the first place. I know what I've said because I only say what I believe, and I know what I believe.
