this half assed logic is exactly how we got the broken ACA. ACA was originally going to have a public option but it was weakened by countering arguments with no replacements allowing Leiberman to pull it.
By NOT going #M4A Steve is doing the same thing.

I never said I wouldn't support it. I said what I believe we need. And as long as M4A is an improvement, I'll vote for it, but I won't stop there if it doesn't get very close to 12% of GDP. It will be a step, not a fix.
