Steve, I appreciate your advocacy for immigrants. And I'm not saying you take the position you do on working with the alt-right out of malice. You may genuinely believe it is the best road to accomplish needed reforms. But I think that working w/ them will normalize them.

You don't need to tell ME that. But its also possible to make it worse, right? Racism occurs in degrees and the alt-right wants it to be worse.

Yes, it gives them an audience to spread their message. So, I think working w/ Cernovich would do that. Some of his followers may want universal healthcare, but they have a narrower ideal of who should be included (i.e. only white Americans).

Because it happens all the time! How do you think the ranks of the alt-right have grown? They are actively targeting and converting people. And no, they won't "turn" overnight, but it will initiate or hasten the process.
