I know, they want to dupe people into believing that they will. By this logic, why not try to change a moderate republican or centrist democrat? Some of them claim they want universal health care. The focus on the alt-right is a waste of energy, at best.

You don't need to tell ME that. But its also possible to make it worse, right? Racism occurs in degrees and the alt-right wants it to be worse.
I used to want to date Angelina Jolie. Thing is, she would've had a say in that. I know what they want. That doesn't make it likely. What makes you think it would get worse by engaging them? That it would "turn" more people to their side?

Yes, it gives them an audience to spread their message. So, I think working w/ Cernovich would do that. Some of his followers may want universal healthcare, but they have a narrower ideal of who should be included (i.e. only white Americans).
