I believe in the ideals of the Democratic Party as espoused by FDR, and I think we can get there as a Party if we turn away from corporate politics & embrace grassroots. I'm an eternal optimist!

Fair enough. I still don't get it.
To me, it's like saying I'm a Republican because of things Teddy Roosevelt said and did.
But more power to you. You're not the type to let the party machine overrun you, so I'm still on your side.

That graphic is terrible. Run better candidates if you want to win. Relying on the other side to be worse is *obviously* a losing strategy. And I didn't say "the same." I said "mostly interchangeable." As long as that graphic is how your party's run, it deserves to lose.
