In that video she said it was up to the states. She had already come out for civil unions and fought for domestic partnership benefits as First Lady. You don’t know #lgbt history. A clip is nothing but a clip.

She was asked directly if the state of New York should recognize gay marriages, and she said NO. Her husband proudly signed DOMA, which her staffers in the email leaks said she and he both STILL SUPPORT. And SCOTUS gave you your rights, not Democrats.

He wasn’t proud, that bill was a Bob Barr trap bill to drive a wedge btwn #lgbt and Clinton 4 months before reelect. He signed it with no ceremony in the middle of the night. Not proud, trapped by republicans.

Bernie never publicly came out for marriage until 2009 AFTER we made it law here in Vermont. Ps Chuck Todd is an idiot.
