He was appointed by Obama due to pressure by McConnell in anticipation of this very thing. Come on, man. You think he’d have been Obama’s first choice? I don’t disagree with your point about parties in general, tho
The president did this because of pressure from a senator? That just shows weak leadership at best, and collusion at worst.

The FCC answers to the president. Congress can refuse to confirm appointments, but the president can appoint whoever he wants. He chose Ajit Pai. You need to quit blaming congress for things Obama chose to do.
