Oh yes & that’s the *much* safer way to go about it, you’re 100% right. Typically things aren’t a problem until they are either, so FEC could end up coming back to it later, who knows
And you do *not* want to give the FEC the benefit of the doubt that they won't act in a partisan fashion, especially as an independent such as myself.
