Caveat- Coming from someone with 0 experience on election law- I don’t *think* it makes a difference since they’re married, in the state’s eyes they are one entity, no? Financially speaking second can be claimed on behalf of his wife

Yeah, maybe. Notcertain about how the accounting works. I just know I've asked my donors to keep it to a max of $2700 and if they want to donate more, they need to do it under a spouse's name.
