Come on. Lobbyists are a problem. It is corruption. It must end.

Some are ... some are corrupt but One can probably make that statement about any profession.

Which of these rings true? "Janitors are corrupt." "Teachers are corrupt." "Roofers are corrupt." "Dog trainers are corrupt." "Taxi drivers are corrupt." "Field hands are corrupt." "Retail workers are corrupt." "Gardeners are corrupt." "Politicians are corrupt."

I was a teacher and I can tell you of scrupulous practices by some ... as black Man I’ve been discriminated by taxi drivers... currently suing my corrupt contractor... I can continue there are bad actors in all professions and these blanket generalizations don’t move the ball.

Thats not the point here Jaime. There should be a wall between industry/monied interest and those in government. Crony capitalism, regulatory capture and the like have created massive income inequality. Our government is bought and cares more about their donors.

I don’t totally disagree... I would love to see a prohibition against those who lobby to give contributions to Members of Congress... I think that makes a lot of sense but I don’t think the courts would let it stand.

We're halfway to what's needed for a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United. Can you enlighten me as to where overturning that ruling is in the DNC platform?

Dnc is wholeheartedly supportive of reversing citizens united ... a horrible ruling that has done irreparable damage
