In late stage capitalism, the corporate parasites do away w/ the facade & blatantly hold all levers of the state. Exhibit A - A brand name is literally the president.

But capitalism is the primary reason those drug offenders are in prison... So, like I said, both communism and capitalism end up at totalitarianism. It's up to us to walk the right rope between them both.
