We've sank into abyss of idol worshiping and cult of personality as a society; we now see vacuous Tweets by our political heroes--devoid of any substance but full of sound and fury--as signs of courage & leadership. People will read this and see only "the other side" doing this.

Much like other forms of propaganda, when virtue signalling and political posturing are aimed at others it's far easier to spot than when aimed at ourselves.
Truth is, the "teams" are a myth anyway. It's not Dem vs Rep, or male vs female, or white vs POC, or gay vs straight... Those are manufactured conflicts reinforced through messaging. It's 99% vs 1%. We have the numbers. We just need to get enough people to see it.
