You sound pretty goddamned white to me, Steve. How about this: our two party system is a goddamned failure but because they're political monopolies, they've orchestrated rules that allow them to maintain their power. The wealthy always goddamned win.
White? I'm an independent. Proudly so. For exactly those reasons. The two-party monopoly is a monopoly because people have allowed it to become a monopoly through "team voting" and the like. The parties are to blame, after the voters who let it happen. Including you and I.
