It’s not their job to be a purveyor of “truth” to the people. They provide information to elected officials who create policy and take action. Let us know when you’ve served in any similar capacity.

Curtis. Don’t bother. He’s a crusader who knows a lot about motorcycle sports and not much else. He’s never served and he has certainly never been in the IC. I wish him luck, but I’m betting on the windmills.
That old "if you've never been a cop, you don't know how cops should behave" trope is tired. So is putting insider loyalty in front of the rights of the people.

It has nothing to do with that at all. I know "The people" have no rights when it comes to my work. It would still endanger people if "the people" knew. In fact, I get the pleasure of dealing with PTSD and can't do counseling because I can't talk about it. Fun.

Thousands of Americans, hundreds of thousands of others, have died because of CIA complicity in Iraq alone. This isn't counting Vietnam, Korea, or many of the smaller skirmishes. They only happen *after* the public approves. Approval comes from CIA intel.
