There's things I did for work in one field of work, which I cannot discuss. Secrecy happens in domestic fields also. These things, if known by average people, would compromise so many lives and so many operations that keep us safe, it would make your head spin
So, what happens if the government is starting wars around the world under false pretenses, and the banks and other companies who benefit from those wars are also the primary donors putting the House and Senate intel committees into office? Then what?

That's all on the political end and has nothing to do with the actual intel communities. Politicians and bureaucrats are horrible for intel and undercover communities. We get left out dry.
