If you're a traitor for telling the truth and not a traitor for lying about rights abuses against American citizens, things are backward. You're on the wrong side.

You’re a fucking traitor when you expose sources and methods and run to an enemy country instead of standing up and making your case. Whistle blowers don’t run, spies do. When you serve anything more than yourself you can talk about sides.

Whistleblowers are jailed here. Manning didn't expose anything that put anybody at risk. To my knowledge, neither did Snowden. But who went to jail for what they exposed? NOBODY.

You don’t know what the fuck you’re talking about. To YOUR knowledge? Once a source is exposed those who wish to hide stop using the source tech or stop doing what they are doing and find another way. You really need to stop watching movies.

Did you read what I wrote? If you expose a source or method that allows you to collect intel and those who would do us harm stop using whatever tech or stop doing what they were doing, we are now essentially blind. Get off the self-righteous horse and join the real world.

In the real world, bulk data collection of Americans is the opposite of what America purports to be. In Manning's case, Manning didn't expose people OR tech. Why was Manning jailed and not anybody who did the things Manning exposed?

And, God forbid you ever actually have to fight in combat or take life and death decisions, as you might just figure out the world’s not as black & white as your smug, self righteous ass thinks it is.
