The only key piece of information anybody needs to predict everything is this: Neither party actually *wants* to do *any* of the things they say they want to do. It's all a ruse. Issues aren't for fixing. They're for solidifying voters and donations. 1/2
If they *fix* any of the things they say they want to fix, they lose that thing as a wedge issue to secure votes in the next election. They want to keep all of our problems in play, never fixing them, so they can always use them to win elections and garner money/power. 2/2
