That last one's the one I worry about more than anything. Really. Thank you. I just got tired of complaining about it. I've had a few epiphanies over the years and I think I understand what's going on, so let's see if we can fix it.

Until you approach nihilism, skepticism has high value. It's funny that advising people not to blindly trust you makes you better believed. I often advise my tenants to buy instead of renting. I guess it's best to limit heuristic confidence to the demonstrable.

If you're honest, people being skeptical of you is positive in the end. I question everything and everybody, all the time. It's not negative. It's smart.
