Beautiful to me. The opposite of authoritarianism is not permissiveness but nurturance, helping and taking care of each other. Leaders should elucidate shared goals, not compel respect for Cartmanesque authorit-ay.

Thank you. I just got tired of complaining about it. I've had a few epiphanies over the years and I think I understand what's going on, so let's see if we can fix it. 
End the drug war, the war on terror, reform policing, and make the people the bosses again, instead of the government.

(From memory. May not be exact.) The only true authority is earned. Einstein was an authority in physics because he earned it. It wasn't given or granted.
