I feel like I did something worthwhile today because of this.

I would like to goad Dennis into running for office. Creativity under pressure implies possible personal tolerance of absurd fundraising duties. I honor your leadership, humanity, your sacrifice of privacy, hope for your greatest successes, & I identitfy with your sense of humor

That last one's the one I worry about more than anything. Really. Thank you. I just got tired of complaining about it. I've had a few epiphanies over the years and I think I understand what's going on, so let's see if we can fix it.

Exactly. I go as far as to advise people not to trust me.

Until you approach nihilism, skepticism has high value. It's funny that advising people not to blindly trust you makes you better believed. I often advise my tenants to buy instead of renting. I guess it's best to limit heuristic confidence to the demonstrable.
