Those are the countries with worse socioeconomics. Socioeconomics are: Poverty rate, racial equality, healthcare, wealth/wage gap, etc. We're the richest country on the planet, and nearly all that money is controlled by 10% of the people. Look at the chart.

Yep. And if gun ownership was the *cause* of gun homicides, we'd have an equivalent number of gun homicides as compared to the rest of the world. But again, I'm looking for any country with worse socioeconomics and a lower gun-homicide rate. Those are the two stats.

So that is your takeaway from this information? I am assuming you look at the gun homicide rate of 2.97 per 100,000 people in the US which is very low in comparison to the number of guns owned in the US.

So comparison of gun ownership in France & that they have a gun homicide rate of 0.06 per 100,000 but an assumption that the country has better socio-economic conditions because based on the number of guns in France they are not killing each other to same degree as Americans?

That is the argument you are trying to counter? That I believe sheer number of guns is the *cause* of gun homicide? Nope. Then you are wasting your time. This is uniquely a cultural issue in the US & a country whose entire identity is wrapped up in their gun rights at all costs

If that were the case, you'd be able to find ONE COUNTRY with worse sicioeconomics and a better gun-homicide rate.
