Not exactly. I am using your “spilled blood” quote in context, which you stated is the price we pay to uphold our freedoms. It may not be palatable but it is true
Also not palatable but true: Allowing citizens to pass checks and training and then carry concealed firearms *anywhere* would save lives in mass shootings.

Most citizens don’t receive adequate training w/ a firearm so while I like the idea that we could have armed vigilantes roaming the streets saving us from harm it has the potential to complicate securing a crime scene when officers figure out who is the “good guy” w/ a gun
