Perhaps we can add that Benjamin Franklin quote as a suitable epitaph & add to our “thoughts & prayers” next time we have a mass shooting Say next week or so?

A + B = C A = 400-650 million guns here B = Poor mental-health infrastructure gives us undiagnosed sick folks everywhere C = Mass shootings If we want to fix C, we have to fix A or B. A's extent is unlikely to be fixable by law. So we must fix B to fix C.

Things that don't address A or B won't do anything to address C.
Example: Magazine-capacity laws. There are *billions* of high-capacity mags in circulation. Law would do nothing. No serial #s. It's a distraction to fool people into believing Dems care. They don't.
