As I said previously if you truly believe civil rights in the US are applied equally then you’re naive. Do you need a history lesson when the Southern states tried to remove the right to bear arms for African Americans who were trying to defend themselves from white supremacists?

True. Which means, for example, to maintain freedom for the public, police must stop extrajudiciously killing people. This *may* lead to more police being killed, but that's their sacrifice to maintain a free people. Killing people unnecessarily harms the cause of freedom.
