Do you really think they could have passed universal? Given the reaction to the ACA and the endless need for it to be 'bipartisan' and 'not rushed' and all the other bs the Republicans did to try and sabotage it?
Imagine if the Democrats - who had the votes - would've passed universal healthcare.
Not only would Cindy's daughter still be alive, but the Democrats wouldn't have been ousted from power due to their bad healthcare law.
