Not my article so don't praise me, but the stuff at the beginning and throughout the middle was pretty good as well.

Canada isn't perfect, and we suffer from some of the same party issues here but perhaps on a smaller scale. But IMO we did some things right when we elect leaders.
Eh... I'll disagree with that a slight bit. While your young PM is certainly suave and smooth, he's a neoliberal, too.

And he's a big spender which I think might come back to haunt us :-) I was talking more about our process. Elections, including voter registration and maps, are controlled by a gov't agency - not any ruling party.

Corporate money is not a factor as there are stict limits on what can be spent. And our last federal election was the longest in our history - 78 days!
