Right to assembly and right to free speech are rights in public. The deck of an aircraft carrier is not "public" strictly speaking. Roads are. Sidewalks are. Thus: Strawman. Creating an easy argument that you can defeat rather than addressing actual points presented.

There is nothing about reasonable gun regulations that causes an unreasonable burden on the rights of legitimate gun owners. Because that’s what we do. We balance the rights - even the constitutional rights - of individuals with a legitimate government purpose.

No, that's not what we do. We suppress rights and oppress people to benefit the wealthy and powerful. You're confusing what we "should" do with what we "actually" do.

Steve, I’m not in the slightest bit confused. And now you’ve presented a new argument. One I don’t necessarily disagree with. But it has zero to do with gun regulations.

Steve, I’ve now read your webpage and we agree on many issues. I would encourage you to spend more time researching gun violence. Gun violence isn’t rooted in socioeconomics. That’s fiction. And we can curtail much of the carnage with better background checks. That’s fact.

Both of those things are false. I'm trying to actually fix the problem. You guys are trying to get rid of the scary thing you don't like. That's the difference. If you read my section on guns, you'll see how I detail and cite sources. Good sources. I'm right.

I did. But your hyperlinks don’t work. But even without validating your sources (which isn’t my job, btw) your statements are easily refuted. Take Missouri as an example. Relaxed gun laws = more gun violence. People didn’t suddenly become different “socioeconomically.”
