Streets are paid for in tax money. Making someone pay extra to exercise their rights means poor people can't afford to utilize their own rights.

You know what else is paid for with tax money? Aircraft carriers. But I can’t hold a parade on one.

If you’re suggesting aircraft carriers aren’t streets, then I understand your response. But it’s not a straw man argument. Both are paid for by tax money. Since you’re having trouble with that one, I also cannot have a parade on the highway. Time, place, manner.

Right to assembly and right to free speech are rights in public. The deck of an aircraft carrier is not "public" strictly speaking. Roads are. Sidewalks are. Thus: Strawman. Creating an easy argument that you can defeat rather than addressing actual points presented.

There is nothing about reasonable gun regulations that causes an unreasonable burden on the rights of legitimate gun owners. Because that’s what we do. We balance the rights - even the constitutional rights - of individuals with a legitimate government purpose.
