I want to address all of the causes of violence in our society, including mental health, the wealth/wage gap, the war on drugs, mass incarceration, and more. Those things will curb gun violence.

Certainly a thought out position staking out guns, the things, not being the problem. A lot of stats to wade through. And kudos for trying to make the change you believe in.

It seems like your stats based approach ignores some societal differences...swiss conscription leading to a trained population, whatever influences time stats in Russia vs Honduras, etc. Maybe that's your point?
