Please don't fill in the blanks with arguments I don't believe and haven't said. You personally won't brook doubt, therefore there is no doubt. How does that allow even discussion?
Doubt should be warranted. Franken apologized and only said he didn't remember the kiss the way she did. That's not exactly a denial. Why is doubt warranted?
