Right and that was the point I was getting at just didn’t know how to articulate it. Most wouldn’t. But a “yes” should require just a chat with a mental health professional to attest to their mental capacity.

Listen, we agree, which is beneficial. We’re hashing out semantics here. But how do you define violent mental illness? I think the biggest problem is how little we understand mental illness. Is OCD inherently violent? No. Can it be? Yes

Come on... That's not OCD as a problem. It's psychosis.

But this is my point- how do you define violent mental illness? That is a type of OCD but has violent tendencies. I’m coming back to we really don’t understand mental illness properly which is the biggest issue

Then we need to fund the studies to figure it out and wait on enacting restrictions on people's rights until after we have consensus.
