I’d like it to be federally regulated background checks so a gun purchased in Idaho has the same procedure as PA. Also include mental health, if applicable. Would need Universal Health though. I know there are different types of BGC, i’d just want it federally decided.

Also any and all transfers are required to go through the same steps as an initial purchase. My big point is getting it out of state hands & into federal hands because it is 2017 & too easy to cross state lines. Imo

California's gun laws are way more strict than anything proposed or likely to pass at the federal level.
