I won’t find it for Bernie ;) it doesn’t exist. Endorsing something Ian explicitly calling for its use but that’s cool too.

Personally I think more gun control is necessary- I don’t think it would’ve prevented Aurora, Pulse, Vegas, etc, but it may work to reduce the daily gun violence we see in our country, especially in cities like Philly, Chicago, etc.

I don’t think guns should be outlawed, I just think there’s needs to be stronger regulation surrounding it and it should be handled federally rather than on a state by state basis as it is a federal amendment that guarantees the right to own.

I think there's a lot that can be done to reduce gun violence, and as long as we know going in that it's unlikely to address mass shootings, universal background checks and the like are a good idea. I just don't like how dishonestly these things are promoted.

I absolutely agree. My whole philosophy is we should do everything to prevent guns from being in the hands of those it shouldn’t. Everyone’s rebuttal is we don’t trust the government to take that responsibility, when it’s their job.

Maybe an emphasis on mental health- how important it is and how little we understand of it, could go much further to addressing mass shootings than gun regulations. At the same time? We’re getting somewhere.
