We need to realize that ineffective legislation is a massive part of what's wrong here. Feel-good laws designed to make the electorate believe one party or the other is on your side; that's the problem. We need real-world solutions.

How do you prove someone belongs to a hate group? And who determines what is or isn't a hate group in the first place? You can't take rights from someone without a conviction, and most domestic-violence accusations don't end with convictions.

And "criminally insane"? You can only act on that with a diagnosis followed by reporting into the system. That combo almost never happens. Soooooo... How?
