A violent conviction already makes ownership illegal. Bio-safeties should be required for police, for sure.

everything is socioeconomics as we both know.

Pandora's Box is open in regard to guns here. There are way too many for *any* kind of ban to be effective against gun crime.

But what we *can* and *MUST* do is address the many socioeconomic factors at the root of all violent crime and suicide.

If we do this, every single adult could carry a gun and we'd still have a fraction of the gun violence we have right now.
