You really don't get it, do you? On the national level, we've spent 20 years with GOP majority and/or PotUS - we've tried.

Now look at the local level: Democrats have raised the minimum wage in many jurisdictions, passed robust gun safety legislation, etc.

The economy always benefits from Democratic Party leadership. So your argument is irrelevant and invalid.
