You're finding correlation & assuming causation. Saying gun violence is ALL due to socioeconomic causes is too broad a generalization.

Affluent? He lived in a trailer park, from what I understand. He was obviously distraught and wasn't getting help for it.

People intent on doing harm do harm. Vans, planes, knives, bombs, guns... They find a way. We need to remove their intent to do harm.

France, Iceland, Japan and England are all statistically equal in gun homicides, but very unequal in gun ownership. It's not the guns.
