Slaves were fed, clothed, and had roofs over their heads. Can you get that on $7.25 per hour working for Walmart? No. 10/34

Walmart makes billions in profits for shareholders who do no work whatsoever on the backs of essentially slave labor. 11/34

We have prisoners working for pennies inside corporate-run prisons because they were caught with an illegal flower in their pocket. 12/34

We have slaves, in the classic sense, working in mines for diamonds, coal, gold, and silicon for our smart phones and computers. 13/34

But that’s all fine as long as we don’t have a statue of Robert E Lee in a town square, right? Because that makes us feel shame. 14/34

Just because some ignorant idiots are dumb enough to be proud of our heritage doesn’t mean it’s not our heritage. It is. 15/34
