Shoe on the other foot, I'd think they were avoiding a direct answer for a reason. It's a form of dishonesty. Politicians do it constantly.

It’s not dishonest to recognize that judging someone as “bad” or “good” is subjective and immaterial to whether they are racist or not.

It's not about whether or not they're racists. It's about whether or not they're good people, and as such are worthy of saving.

Maybe it’s just the Christian values I was brought up with, but I believe all people are worthy of saving.

I'll go with "most" as an atheist. Sociopaths probably are not worth the effort. So why is it so insane to suggest dialog with racists?

Ok. Go ahead and argue that. First, explain that you understand what a sociopath is, then please explain how racists are sociopaths.

Sociopaths are antisocial and unwilling to associate in a normal way with other people and are opposed to principles of society.
