You're challenging their authority on what is and isn't racism. No matter how politely you do that, it's an attack.

I suspect you won't answer this question because you're afraid of where it leads. Nobody gets to be default authority on anything.
We either have a civil dialog, or we don't, but I'm not going to treat ANYBODY with kid gloves. I want to actually defeat racism.

Not just have symbolic gestures that fortify the racists because it "makes people feel better." It's nonsense.
