No, not at all. I don't excuse anything. I'm saying there is no crime to prosecute that would not have an apparent political motivation.
Pay for play is a crime. Sending classified info to people without clearance is a crime. PACs communicating with campaigns is a crime.

Pay for play is not always a crime, it depends. Classified info crimes are hard to prosecute w/o proving intent, PAC crimes are rampant.
