I've decided to take emotion out of this and look at it pragmatically.

I think implementing this "alliance" strategy on a larger scale is going to alienate far more people than it will bring in to the fold.

There really is no alliance strategy, just being smart and not alienating.

Pushing for progressives & progressive policies, racism thrives off of economic despair, surely its fair to have different approaches right?
