Ya I just happened to be watching some Cynthia McKinney vids today & she talked about working with racist GA senators on several issues

Ok changing hearts and minds is all well and good on a 1:1 basis. A lot of people aren't built for that work, myself included.

I don't like racists. I don't like the way they talk, act or carry themselves and I have absolutely no patience for that type of work.

Also I believe that work should be done on a much smaller and personal scale by people who can stomach it.

I've decided to take emotion out of this and look at it pragmatically.

I think implementing this "alliance" strategy on a larger scale is going to alienate far more people than it will bring in to the fold.

For example if I saw poster for a rally that said "forum on progressive causes" I would attend that.

If I saw that same poster only featuring Cerno or anyone like him I would not attend. That's the simplest way I can put it.
