If someone like MC, who has a massive audience, wants to sell uni healthcare to his audience, it’d be insane NOT to have a 2/14

lefty who can sell it go on his show and do that. That’s what it means by “align” by virtue of PRINCIPLES over PEOPLE. 3/14

And if you want to change society for the better, I firmly believe that the best ideas always win in the end. 4/14

That’s why you can’t defeat terrorism with bombs, you have to defeat it with better IDEAS. That’s how society works. 5/14

How it DOES NOT WORK is by mocking and otherwise further isolating fringe groups and allowing them to grow stronger out of view. 6/14

It has NEVER worked like that, and it’s not going to start now. I do understand how uncomfortable the idea is to confront such 7/14

terrible, disgusting ideas in the public sphere. I understand, as well as I can, the anger at the root on both sides. 8/14
