I think some are misinformed/ignorant & are capable of changing & some have views so deeply rooted in hate that they will likely never learn

Agreed. But what is being advocated by cutting them out of the loop, even where they can help us, GUARANTEES they will never change.

We can't make this world the way we want it to be without including people we don't like. They're here, too. They can change.
