Do you honestly think we're so stupid as to only blame Republicans for forgetting about the poor? That was your job.

For 25 years you have screwed the poor instead. And now you want to offer some lipservice and pretend we'll just forget?

You owe a debt. You have welfare reform and the crime bill to repair. You have 30 million ignored by Obamacare to tend to.

You don't get to be the party of the poor until you fix what you did to stop being the party of the poor.

And you need to get on it quick, because you're already losing again.

First suggestion? Find some poor people to talk to, because none of y'all know a damned thing about poverty in America.
