I saw that they were gonna do this and was like I cant imagine it being really complete in that short amount of time, but I guess they did it.really shocked. I wonder what the cost was man hour wise for something like that.over here I dont think it would of been possible cost wise

There was apparently some sort of labor dispute during construction and work was stopped for a short period. It will be interesting to find out what that was about.

Seeing the speed of which they were able to put it together. It's reminiscent of our modern army Field hospitals. Take one empty field give us a about 12 hours and you have a fully functioning hospital. I wouldn't be surprised if the government had something like this in plann

some people were downplaying this saying "its just a quarantine building" but this looks insanely impressive btw why are there security bars on internal windows?

If you pour enough resources into a project where Time is the driving factor such as in war or an emergency there's theres allot that can be done. Also building a compleat new facility IS faster than expanding an existing one whose operations must be un interupted.

From the outside my first thought is "Wow, that's a lot of impermeable surface area they added!" - wonder how that figures into the site planning.

(where I live we have trouble managing storm runoff because everything gets paved over & our street drains can't handle the volume of water blasting into them)
